Cookie Policy

Our website (novantum.lv and analytics.novantum.app) and our app dashboard.novantum.app use cookies and browser storage (Local Storage, IndexedDB). This page describes which ones and why.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device when you visit a website.

What cookies do we use?

  • Necessary (mandatory): without them you cannot log in, keep your session or make payments. On our website, the cookie banner (CookieScript) stores your choice in the CookieScriptConsent cookie, and when you log in to the website, WordPress sets its login cookies. In the app, your login session is kept in the secure novantum_session cookie (HttpOnly, not accessible to scripts; valid no longer than the login period, usually 7 days). Payments are processed by Stripe on its own page, under its own cookie policy.
  • Functional: the app uses the browser’s Local Storage to remember your settings (for example, language, colour theme, period and filters) and that you have seen the cookie notice. The files you upload are stored in the browser’s IndexedDB storage and are not sent to our server.
  • Analytics (only on our website and only with your consent): Google Analytics 4 helps us count visits and traffic sources and understand which pages are the most popular. These cookies are set only if you accept analytics cookies in the cookie banner; until then Google receives only cookieless signals (Google Consent Mode). _ga: used to distinguish users. Retention period: 2 years. _ga_[ID]: used to keep the session state. Retention period: 2 years. More details in section 4 of the Privacy Policy.
  • App statistics without cookies: the app dashboard.novantum.app does not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels or tracking cookies. Visits are measured by Vercel Web Analytics and performance by Vercel Speed Insights, both without cookies; we see only aggregated statistics.

You can control or delete cookies in your browser settings, but this may affect how the app works. If you delete our website’s cookies, the cookie banner will appear again and you can make your choice anew. Questions: support@novantum.app.
